Description:
White to off-white powder contained in scarlet red/white EGC # 1
Indications:
For the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of Gram-positive
and Gram-negative microorganisms such as infections of the respiratory,
gastro-intestinal and genito-urinary tracts; and skin and soft tissue infections.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults (above 12 years): 1 capsule (250 mg) every eight hours or
as prescribed by the physician.
Contraindication:
Amoxicillin is contraindicated in patients known to be sensitive to penicillin
Precaution:
The drug should be used with caution in patients with known history of allergy
to Amoxicillin.
